The original ActivityPub test suite, originally hosted at activitypub.rocks hasn't been running for years and it's been difficult to find a maintainer because of the implementation programming language, Guile. Because of that situation, the test suite was rewritten in Python.

There are a number of issues with the decentralized nature of the Fediverse. One of them is that we are not seeing replies from people we do not follow.

The ActivityPub protocol is a decentralized social networking protocol based upon the [ActivityStreams] 2.0 data format. It provides a client to server API for creating, updating and deleting content, as well as a federated server to server API for delivering notifications and content.
